Rear diff. 04 Diff between 07?

Rear diff. 04 Diff between 07? Was looking on gm parts direct and its showing 1399 for a rear diff on a 04 and 650 for one on a 07. Any input on the diffrence between the two diffrent rear diffs. Are diffrent axles needed? have heard the 07 axles are bigger.

You must have the wrong number. 04-07 CTS-V DN69 DIFF CARRIER 3.73 RATIO RETAILS $1922.96 #25873498.
This is the newest # available. $1399 is not a bad price.
If anyone is in NE Indiana, I could probably save them on the freight for a GM rear diff.
I think the axles changed over the years, but my speculation is its just the center shaft inside the whole cv axle thats a different diameter.
