CTS jack kit on CTS-V and wheel lock info
Couple quick questions:
I now have a spare wheel on the way and I will need a way to put it on. I assume that the CTS jack kit will also work on a CTS-V. Do I assume correct?
Also, during the short life of the vehicle (if it was even provided) the wheel lug lock has been lost. I called the dealership and talked to a know-it-all parts service "tech" who stated that they don't sell them without the lugs and my best luck is either a. coming down and buying 4 new lug sets w/ new locks and having their wheel guys put them on (which would give me a key specific to those lugs) OR b. coming down, buying 4 standard lugs, and not running the locking lugs.
Options? Opinions? Aftermarket keys? Are all the lug locks the same on CTS-Vs?
Thanks,
Graham

Hello Graham.
Both cars have the same lift points so the CTS jack should work.
Regarding your wheel lock issue, I'd buy a set of Gorilla Locks from Discount Tire. Call them to makes sure they have them in stock.
Best regards.

I went through this a couple of weeks ago with my V. This was my second set of GM locks; one of the first ones grenaded and came off in pieces with an air chisel. The key to the second ones must have evaporated. I used a Snap On wheel lock remover to get them off (there is only one that would fit in the hole in the wheel) and don't plan on running them again. How many other 6 lug cars are out there that would want these wheels?
