Playing with HDR Photography - My V

Sorry if I offended anyone with my Cuba comment... It's got to be tough living in that environment. Wish the U.S. and Cuba could have better relations because both have so much to offer and gain from the other. Anyway, the camera I used is a 8MP Minolta 35mm Digital. It's pretty old and I've wanting to upgrade. Luckily, it allows me to do bracketing shots and have some manual exposure control. I'm sure the new cameras (possibly even the point-n-shoot) allow you to bracket.
not hdr, but a $5,000 Nikon SLR shoot setup
edit: the resizing it's doing to the thumbnails is ruining it!

That looks awesome tony. Love the stance and the rims. What did you use to lower the front and back? Is it a difficult project? Been thinking about doing this mod eventually. BTW, are the rims inner portion painted Stealth Gray? Even if not, it's a close enough match and looks frickin awesome!

Thanks brother.
The windows and inner lip are certainly painted stealth gray as per the matching number on the door sill. The suspension is a k-sport complete coil-over kit. It eliminates both the shock & spring so you won't have to deal with the auto-leveling nonsense as well as adjust ride height to your specific application (in my case, TUCK THE 20s) and damper adjustment. Given every single other suspension mod that wasn't a coil-over wasn't lowering the car anywhere near where i wanted it, so i sucked it up.
The stance is much more aggressive now and it's been lower more, especially in the rear.

very carefully. pretty much everything is sideways, like going in to gas stations etc... ofcourse except highway bridges, and i assume by that you mean the overpass differences and going over them possibly hitting bottom. i jeopardize bending a wheel more than rubbing.
if a complex has speed humps, i'm owned. who ever i'm picking up better walk to the front, lol.
and to think i was going to lower it just a tad more so i could tuck to the rim, but that may be a bit much.

The GIMP with several plugins available for it. Its kind of a "generic" photoshop with a lot of the same features and its free. Of course Photoshop is a more powerful software but let me tell you....the GIMP is not that far and it improves constantly.
In your pic I used a fake HDR effect (plugin) and another plugin to improve the sky (called Darla).

If you look up the definition of HDR it is just what he did. Take three or more photos of the same thing at different exposures. HDR photos do not have to look fake for them to be HDR. Nice pics and nice car.

I dont need to look at the definition...I know what HDR is. It dont have to look fake, BUT in all honesty his pics although good ones did not had the HDR look to them...have you ever tried HDR or a bit of more serious photography yourself? Anyways...Im just curious....
