Default Dallas Cars and Coffee **Feb 6**

I'm planning on making this event. The last one was canceled due to inclement weather.

If anyone else wants to join me, we can meet at the Starbucks (5760 Legacy Drive, Plano, TX, 75024) up the street at the Shops at Legacy at 8am and drive in together.

Also, my cam install should be done by then if anyone wants to hear it in person.

I should be out there this weekend. I'll see if I can meet up with you at the Starbucks beforehand.

Its a frame off that never got finished. My father in law and I have been trying to finish it but no time. Been sitting in his garage untouched for a while. It's got a lot to go before its done. We have thrown in the towel.

Here's a link to it http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...%3AMESELX%3AIT

You're just showing off the fact that your 3rd gear can go to 100!! I would have to be in 4th come 95 and up.

But to reply directly to your post....I am ready when you are.

Side note, I wonder how a 50-125 run would end up with your motor against my bottle??? Interesting....

Let's do it.

Really liked the treatment of the spoiler extension on this V2 at C&C Dallas:

Also thought this stripe package was well done -- subtle black on black:

I might have said no stripes allowed until I saw it on, but it looked good.

Would you like to try this before or after my next round of mods? My Clutch is gone but its cool. I can handle 1 run...h

What did it dyno with the bottle?

I shift into 3rd at 100mph. 2nd does 90 at stock Rev limiter.

OK, so if we run at 50mph, you will be 1000ishRPMS from your rev limiter, in 2nd. That means I will, for you only, put it in 1st at 50mph
Which means I will have 1000+revs left as well.

I will need a burn to hook.

Sounds good! I'm going video tape it...

I dyno'd at 491hp and 517tq at the wheels (!) on the bottle, and I can tell you it is crazy fast. My gears are 1-35 2-65 3-95 4-120 5-165

Yeah, traction on 245s in the rear with an instant 517lb/tq is not readily available. Should be awesome to see what happens though.

Let's wait until there isn't 10" of snow on the ground though...

What's your prediction? I think weight will be a huge factor. I would guess 491 would be higher than what you are running (460ish), but the weight!!! Should be worth a video though.
