Is there another flush mount, that doesn't stick up, but hangs off any further. I think I've seen one but can't remember who made it. Pics?

That's my car up in Post #5. I am running the aftermarket cheap spoiler. For the record, I have never heard of a factory spoiler option, although apparently they were an option as stated above, I'm not sure about that. At any rate, the one that I run was listed on Ebay as a CTS Sport OEM spoiler replacement. I absolutely love mine, no regrets on the choice.

BTW - my avatar picture was taken a couple of summers ago before I blacked the whole car out and upgraded to the Toyo r-comps, that's why the pic I posted looks a bit different.

I think that is a stock spoiler from the regular CTS's. Either way, i like the look on your car cause you have the rubber back there to back it up. With the skinny stock wheels/tires, the spoiler looks big on the *** end.

Mad props to how your car looks now! I hope mine gets to that point one day!

Im really not sure man. I think the only one that looks flush is the spectre works and it just depends on the pic angle as to how much it seems like it sticks up or not. I dont think they make one that comes straight off the back.

Quick question... you guys running spoilers, are you having to drill the trunk to install them?

Yes you have to drill...it's actually a bit of a PITA because you have to use a hole saw to cut through the secondary layer underneath so you can tighten the nuts down for the spoiler.

Or you can get the body shop to put adhesive underneath and put it on that way. thats what I did and you would never know it.....no drilling, nothing permanent. Never had a problem with it. Might seem ghetto but a lot of people do it and its nto noticeable at all.

That is def the route i would go if i were to do it.

Id hate to drill the decklid and then change my mind and not be able to turn back without it looking like ****.

Yup, this is aftermarket. It's a Specter also. Nice piece. There are slight differences between the Specter and the Stock or aftermarket piece.

yep...taking a punch and hammer to the trunk lid, then drilling it does make you draw up a bit...

I'll be doing the same. Only spoiler I'd consider is the spectre though if I do ever get one.
