Default What cross drilled/slotted rotors and pads?

Just wondering what everyone is running for rotors. Seems like everyone likes the Hawk pads. I had a set of these rotors I listed below on my TBSS. But I only had the SS for about 8k miles after I put the brakes on. They seemed to hold up good and to be quality, anyone else run them. I emailed the seller and he said they were posiquiet pads which I have used alot and are very welll liked in the TBSS community. So just wondering what you guys thought cause they are a great price. Thanks

I wouldnt bother with cross drilled or slotted, just go with OEM brembos and Hawk HPS pads. You wont be let down.

From what I've read, those rotors are good if you dont track your V. By far the best bang for your buck is do stock rotors and hawk pads. If you insist on drilled rotors go with GM rotors and order them from Luke at Lindsay Cadillac.
I'm at about 50k miles in my 2007 and I will be going with stock solid rotors with hawk pads. I dont see the value of paying 2x more for GM drilled.

Where is the best place to get oem brembo rotors. Best price I have seen on a F/R Set of Hawk pads is $233 shipped. So even the oem brembos and Hawk pads it is still going to be way more than that cross drilled setup. I agree I couldnt see spending $275 for the oem cross drilled setup for just the front rotors. But if I can get that other cross drilled setup with posiquiet pads for less than a oem solid rotor/hawk pads it might be worth it. Thanks for the info

just remember your not gonna stop nearly as good with the otehr brand. Itll be a downgrade from factory stuff which is not smart IMO. its like blowing the LS6 and saving the monmey and putting a stock LS1 in it.

I went with the GM Drilled with Hawk HPS pads. They stop great. Got almost 50k out of my OEM rotors and pads...If I get another 50k it will be money well spent.
