Default So guys with those antiwheel hop axles, hows your dif?

Wanted to see what our "happy owner to broken dif ratio" was.

I know these axles kill the hop greatly but I am curious to see how many owners we have out there with these upgraded axles. How many miles have been logged. How hard you have been driving with the new axles. What other modifications have been done to prevent hop/clunk. etc etc.

I wanna leave rubber strips at every stoplight, no differential fluid/pieces.

Have the Hendrix econo-axle. 50+ drag passes, some on a 125 shot, all with headers/catback/cai/tune no problems yet. Not even diff whine.

What is your best and average 60' times? Are you spraying out of the hole?

For those that have beat on it "from a dig". Are you really getting on it out of the hole? feathering the throttle? How about hop, any felt? Do you drive thru it?

Dumping the clutch and flooring it anywhere between 3500 and 5000 RPM. Always spins on the street and I get a little chatter at the drag strip, but i drive through it, it's not like hop at all.

Interesting, I guess I will have to try it. I'm at the point right now where I either need a solution or I need to look for another car. I like to race : Drag/1mile/road race but this perceived glass rear end really freaks me out and keeps me from enjoying this car anymore then 3/10ths (and its supercharged!)

I had both axles installed on an 07 V. Did a quick test, 1st gear slow roll, trac control still on, perhaps 5mph, floored and shifted through to 3rd. Car went straight as an arrow, no hop, no drama. I'm sure a better test would have been to run with the trac control off. However, before the new axles, under similar conditions, the car would hop before the trac control took over, or I released the accelerator. I think wheel hop is a major contributor to diff and transmission failures. All the pounding and vibration from the hop goes right through the diff, up the driveline, into the transmission.

Gforce axles and love the hard launches and the ability to spin the tires at will.

Diff is perfect.
