Default 275's on Stock Rims - Anyone have Pics??

I need to replace one of my rear tires so I was looking to maybe to get two 275/40/18's put on the back and leave the fronts at 245/45/18. However, I'm little leery to do so considering it might not look that good with somewhat of a "bulge" on the rears due to the rims being all the 8.5 same. I want it to look beefier in the back, but not at the expense of looking awkward or corny.

Does any have a good picture of a 275 on the stock rim? TIA!

I have Goodyear GSD-3's 275/40/18's on the rear, 245's up front. They run wide, more like a 285 which I like the beefier look. No issues but I'm not lowered either.

Thanks for the pictures! Your ride looks nice! I went ahead and ordered some Hankook Evo's (275/40/18) today. The local Discount Tire price matched onlinetires.com's price so I couldn't pass it up. Can't wait till they come in.

I just put Hankook 275/40/18 on the back of my '05. They look like JD's maybe just a touch more narrow. No rubbing but my car is stock ride height.

IDK if they will honor it, but they have a $50 rebate on V12's starting 4/1/10. I ordered my tires last Tuesday. I'm going to try filling out a form and mailing it in.

Nittos tend to run on the small side. Don't count on most 285's fitting as well.

True...

And check the thread "cut stock springs with pics" for more photos. Those are 245/45's up front and 275/40's on my car...

Bummer... Only applies to purchases of 4. I only bought 2 rears. Oh well, still happy Discount price matched onlinetires.com. Saved my $50 there, I guess.

What rear end/axle mods are you running? I'm contemplating doing the Nitto DR's but don't want it to hook and snap something.

Got my new tires put on. I like it! Only problem is, now one of the rears registers 5lbs less on the TPS (34/34/34/29) than the others, even though they're all actually the same 34lbs of pressure when I check manually. I guess I'm going to swing by there tomorrow and have them reset/recalibrate it, but is there a way to do this through the DIC?
