Thumbs down Wrong site but....3.6 Timing Chain stretched

has 60k miles on it.....for $1800 I can have a new Gm engine....I think iam gonna spend bout $800 on a chain/labor.....

Any other options and no I aint doing a V swap...as Iam better off just buying a V.

Anyone heard anything about the G6 2007 having a compatable engine?

huh?

It is a common problem on the 3.6, but why ask about a G6 engine here?

I did not do a lot of research but what I found is the G6 engine is identical to the Aura and Lacrosse but something is different in the CTS. More than likely the only difference is the oil pan FWD-vs-RWD. How is the 472 swap going anyway or did you land a 500? You know a good ole' 350 diesel would be a good salute to the past eyh!
