Got my second letter and called the dealer today. They said parts for 06-07 will be available May 18, and they couldn't figure out when parts would be available for my 05, said they would call me back tomorrow.....

My dealer said pretty much the same thing. Annoying how GM sends a letter saying the recall's finally ready when it's not.

I got my letter yesterday and made my appointment with Lindsay Cadillac for tomorrow. Will report back once the work is done.

I'm sure they're dropping the whole tank, so the fuel pump may indeed be coming out.

Yes they are changing the pump. Its 1/2 the recall...

I was hoping it was just a fuel pump. It appears my tank is cracked. But it seems like this thread is still useful
