Default Best Way to Lessen the Clunk???

I recently purchased a 04' CTS-V and of course can not stand the "clunk" noise when shifting from 1st to 2nd. I have seen the UUC bushing and the BMR pinion support help. Which one is best to lessen the noise or should I just put a stock bushing in there.

If you decide to use our PSB001 you will still need to replace the factory bushing if it is damaged. Just an FYI.......

I have a UUC rear dif bushing, seems to work alright. Most of the clunk went away with a LS7 clutch kit though.

Yep I ditched the dual mass and 90% of the clunk was gone. Did my motor mounts and 99% gone. Did the CS rear diff bushing and it is 100% gone.

Check the Dif mount. I just did a Monster clutch, motor mounts, dif mount, and it shifts like butta.

If you need new mounts Creative Steel is the way to go.
