I almost got this, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-12599/
to put inplace of the x-pipe, this pretty much is a x-pipe with baffles around it. Should tone it down some . But you would have to find one that 2.5 since the one I linked you to is a 3"

I found a used B&B resonator that will pop right in with no welding , hope it helps.

Odd deal, but i bought the clutch for my car, and a buddy's clutch went out in his V, so I gave him mine since i had it sitting around and he was going to get me a new one. Long story short, they put it in and it wouldn't go in reverse. They said they looked all over and something about LS7 clutches in 2005 V's don't work. I'll know more tomorrow when i get up the shop but has anyone else had ANNNNNYYYYYY kind of problem with an LS7 clutch not working?!

They put a stock V clutch back in and it worked fine.

So, Where'd the OP go? Did you get the answers you were looking for? If not, I can provide some help. Did an LS7 clutch the summer before last. Went through some of the common headaches and did a TON of research on it before the install. I'd be happy to share what I learned if you still need it. I will say that it's all readily available right in this forum if you search anything along the lines of "ls7 clutch install" though.
