Default outside temp sensor?

Anyone had their outside temp sensor go bad?

It's 95 degrees out & it feels like it's 100 & my car is telling me it's 75, then 76 & finally 77 after driving around at lunch.

I washed it last night in a touch-free wash.

It was probably 75 degrees last night, then again, it was probably 75 this morning too.

Anyone ever had any similar issues?

Thanks & Have a good weekend guys!

oh, it's an 05 with 50k on it. Black on Black.

Only another person to testify that I'm having some issues as well....sorry no answers tho. Mine kinda varies from day to day.....It has been as bad as 15-20 degrees off, I thought at first it needed time to get adjusted but it will run like that all days at times, others it's spot on....maybe I just have an optimistic V

My car did the same thing after the shop replaced the battery. The computer went brain dead and it corrected itself about an hour later. I noticed it did the same thing about two months ago after the car sat for about two weeks. It seems to be working fine right now.

Default just an update

Mine was fine again the next time I got in & has continued to work properly all weekend.

Thanks for the responses guys, I'll guess I'll keep my fingers crossed.
