Cole- I don't know how long my C6Z06 clutch will hold up to those launches. What do you think? Are they pretty strong? I know they are pretty good on the Vettes but I hope the weight of my car does not kill it. Guess I would just have to go with a Monster one if so .

One very cool thing about the Gforce 9" is that it mounts up with bushings unlike the Madman diff which is metal to metal with brackets etc. etc. This diff should be a whole lot quieter then the Madman one and may even been as quiet or less quiet then stock. Maybe Madman refusing to build my rear was a blessing .

I cant wait to get the biotch back!! Going to love me some 4.30 gears !
LS7 clutch will hold for a while, but it will go out (a lot faster now that the diff will be able to hard launch). but drive til its about to go, and get a Stage 3 or 4 Monster, because they are designed to handle the hard clutch dumps. i would stay 3, because its the most street-able of the puck style clutches they have. EDIT: you will pick up some good HP numbers too by going with their 18lbs flywheel.

and 4.30s...jesus...haha...

cool Monster it will be then.

I think I may gain some numbers too with this 1 piece carbon fiber shaft. I know I may lose a few due to the 9" but I will get it re-dynoed when I get it back to see where she sits and will post the new numbers.

Ya-gear = yummy. she is going to pull hard out of the hole HA!!!

Are you offsetting the diameter of the axles? Would suck to go through all this work and have wheel hop!

The housing and front mount is at the powder coaters right now, when it gets back I'll take a bunch of pics to show it off.

We got the outer stubs made and installed Friday, next step once the housing gets back is inner stubs, axles and driveshaft.

Thanks
Chris

Here are some sneak peak pics of the rear assembled (mostly) We'll be bolting into the car tomorrow.
I had to get some good pics for our web site before it goes into the car for good.
