What's the max power this IRS 9 can handle? I plan on being in the 420whp range by January, but then plano jumping up to 570whp by may 2011 then 620whp by Jan 2012... I would love to see that amount of power actually making it to the ground... lol
Any vids of Vmans car at the track after the install would be awesome!

I am going to get my shifting down for the next few months at the track to see if I can dial in a 12.2 or 12.0 pass N/A and then I will put on the bottle and I will then put down around 600 rwhp/rwtq with my 150 shot and with my 4.30's I will then be shooting for 11.0-11.20's on the spray. This rear should hold as much power as we can through at it IMO. I think the tranny would break first as that would be the next weakest point.
I cant wait to find out and we will post up vids after the install and as I go to the track I will post up those vids as well so you can see some sticky launches!!

If they are not sticky enough with my 285 Nitto Invos then I will slap on some drag radials or slicks for ya! I have an extra set of stock rims so slicks would be nice

VmanUSA got his bad V dropped off at the shop Saturday morning.
It was good to meet you Jim, I love putting a face to a screen name.
I'll be starting a new thread for this build with lots of pics and info as the swap progresses.
I did notice yesterday that we'll need to change the dual front bushing bracket a bit, not big deal, it's just a 5 minute program change on the cnc machine.
One of the bushing holes needs to be moved outboard about 1.5" to give more clearance to the pumpkin.
Everything else is going great. Tooling for duplicating everthing for production should be done in a couple days and there are only a couple small parts that need to cut on the cnc mill.
We'll start tearing into VmanUSA's car tomorrow.
Thanks
Chris
