Yes, let's see some vids of this thing doing some launches... not burnouts cause anyone can go do that but some good launches...

And liqidvenom I agree that's this car could easly be a high 12.7 to a 12.9 @ 108 to 110mph with a good fix to our rears...

Glad to hear it's working so far. Curious if you have any way of compensating for the thermal expansion of the aluminum housing? Can't imagine it being a whole lot though, but something to think about...Usually on structural applications, you either have enlarged (pass thru holes on the plate, for the harware), or slotted holes, depending on which direction(s) you want it to move (expand). Perhaps the spherical joins will allow that movement.

Anyhow, be nice to see how it holds up in the long run and it's a good foundation for some DIY options

+ 1 on some track videos with some badass tires.

Guys could bash the price all they want, but if you keep the diff together with some decent power and rubber your doin something.

This is definitely interesting.....

What do you figure a 500+ RWHP V could do with a rear end like this (able to launch without worry) in the 1/4 mile?

the way i would look at this set up is a band aid. it will provide you with some level of comfort, but it would completely solve the problem. you will be able to launch the car a lot better with this, but you might still blow the *** out of the V. the only way to completely solve it, is to buy the 9" set up from Gforce.

but this is def a good set up for us that havent got to the maggie...(yet )...

3 nitrous bottle refills now and its still perfect. The point of testing thus far is the fact that the last rear end lasted 4 hours, without the nitrous, this set up has far surpassed that, so it definitely did something.

For some reason, I don't see this working out too well. Bars with heim joints only add strength in a single dimension.

The only real solution is a stronger differential or a brace that rigidly attaches to more than one plane on the differential.

they can claim all they want, until i see a video with this 600 wheel v launching it doesnt mean anything to me, because from a role its not gunna be strained like it will be with slicks and a 3k drop.
