Stability System Issue

Stability System Issue On my 2006 cts-v the stability control won't deactivate and I can't activate compitition mode sometimes. The radio has not been replaced and all of the tire pressure sensors are reading normal. I am pretty sure that the stability control is not even ready. The reason I say this is because sometimes when driving and I haven't been able to switch to compitition mode or deactivate the stability control and then the dic will show that the stability system is ready. After this I can then go to compition mode or deactivate the stability control. Hopefully someone will have some input on this, thanks.

My '05 does the same thing or at least very close to it. Never seems to stay broken. Sometimes I can get it to work by playing with the radio, and it always seems to be fine when I restart it. It would be nice to know the cause.
