lol Cole.
Hey guys, here are some cool links that you can use to calculate your quarter mile ETs and you would use your rwhp. Mine came out to 12.38 but I want to do better than that. I did weight with me in the car at 4200 lbs. Check em' out...

Thanks for posting the video's up Jim!
On a side note, we have changed the housing a bit and it now bolts in with no cutting or welding required.
You do still have to do some cutting and welding where the cv joints pass through the cradle as it is very tight in there.
We clearanced the cradle on BadVmans car in about an hour with a plasma cutter and welder, very easy to do.
Thanks
Chris

Chris, with the payment for the entire kit, do u have detailed instructions for the r&r?? I have a 4 post lift and a good welder and mechanic...app. how long
not rushing, wtih some beer breaks, would it take to cut the cradle and install and do the proper welding...and drive it out of the garage..IYO![Chug! Chug! Chug!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_chug.gif)

Then install everything back in the car. A lift will really speed things up for sure. And while your under there, replacing the control arms bushings and sway bar links would be a good idea. While doing BadVman's car we discovered the sway bar links needed replacing and he found that the control arm bushings were shot as well.
I'll dig up the pics of what has to be cut and welded. It's not bad at all.
Or we can modify your cradle for you for $350. plus shipping.
Thanks
Chris

Here is all that is required to make the 9" fit.
There is an area on both sides of the diff that the cv joints are very close to, you just cut about 1/2 in and weld plate back in to close it back up. Very easy to do.
Some of these pics are the same area, just different views.
One side only needs the bottom clearanced, the other side needs the bottom and sides clearanced.

Vman, So you picked up 17 rwhp and 24 rwtq just with your stage 3 clutch? I have an LS7 clutch and I am wondering what kind of hp to expect when I get it dyno'd. Thanks in advance
