High Oil Temp Temps...oil psi
So, once in a while I had been getting some high oil temp alarms....realized this was common and added the star wash and scraped the paint a bit for the grounding location below the PS hood strut.
That didnt do it for me.... then I seen the TSB for early 2004's and confirmed mine is indeed one of these cars that...need flashed? Anyone know how I would go about that? Pretty sure I dont have any kind of warranty.
I dont know what is accurate and what isnt...I also noticed that my oil pressure gauge shows a steady 62 or 63psi....even when starting in gear at low low rpm's....I would expect it to drop down at least a few psi
So even in colder temps...<50degF I can get oil temps of 260-300+, during this time the coolant temp shows around 220degF.
So, how do I go about getting the TSB for this fixed and any feedback on the oil PSI and water temp along with this?
Thanks doods
