fyi...I have the 19" linea corse's and lowered with eibach's with 275 35 19 and rolled fenders. If you get on them hard they will rub just a hair. I might try some 285's next time around and push my luck. Just thought I would chime in.

Yah, I am scared of rub as I want to auto-x the car on occasion. It is good to know that they can rub with eibach's. I wonder if another lowering solution would prevent rub? Stiffer springs maybe...

OP...i have seen 295s on the rear on a V with a 10" wheel. i believe the widest tires you can get on the back is 305, and the front is 255 or 265. that was with Stock fenders too.

That's gotta be with aftermarket trailing arms, at a minimum. I searched the forums for countless hours before I ordered my hyper black L.C. Veneto's and although there were some varying experiences it all boiled down to most people having issues with rubbing on any tire over a 275 width when lowered with either H&R's or Eibach's.

The conclusion I drew after reading hundreds upon hundreds of posts (and asking just about as many questions) was that I can be 99% sure that without rolled fenders, or aftermarket trailing arms, or any other suspension modification except for lowering springs, a 275-35-19 tire will be problem free. That's what I'll be ordering to wrap the wheels in once the nicer weather's around. 245-40-19 front and 275-35-19 rear. I already know what tires I'm getting and I can't fricken wait to see 'em on my V. I had 'em on my previous car and absolutely loved them. You'd never guess a tire would get so many compliments.

Last, even if you made the necessary modifications, a 305 tire on a 10" rim is probably really pushin' your luck for auto-xing or even spirited driving on the streets. I wouldn't be comfortable with a tire that's over 2" wider than the wheel. Search the forums (the other one) for a story about someone who put 275's on their 8" rim (almost 3 inches wider than wheel)... they just about killed themselves on the highway because of the lack of stability.

I have 295's on the 10" linea corse's without having the fenders being rolled or the trailing arms. However, I wouldn't feel comfortable lowering it at all.

Agreed... I saw those and emailed wheeldude right away. But the only ones that will be in a 6x115 or whatever we are cursed with is the 855s. BTW they mentioned something about most concave rims not fitting over our brakes.

ALL,
Wheeldude will manufacture them for us. We should be putting in an order in the next few days if you are interested.

Has anyone run a 295 on a 19x10 successfully with a lowered cts-v? If so, what trailing arms did they use?

This is a good resource for cts-v tire/rim setups: http://www.ctsvparts.com/tire-sizes

This is a great wheel/tire calculator: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

Can anyone photoshop some so I can see what they look like on a car? I love the wheels but something about our cars can make a great wheel look goofy.

I was about to order the other Linea's but I'd like to see what these look like first.

Anyone know what the typical turn-around time is from wheeldude?

Typical turn around is 6-8 weeks. Turn around for the LC855's will be 3-4 months, as this will be the first time they are manufactured.

Have you ever had any rub? Which tire are you using? Do you think it would rub during an auto-x?
