Being a car buff and a gun buff, I am so broke that I have to take a co-signer with me to pay cash. But I am looking forward to seeing your car, it does look and sound like a v beast for sure. I am sure that there will be some potential buyers there. Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your car. BTW, got a real first name for the list?

Thanks, Rhett, this should be good. We have an open challenge from the Texas boys to beat the Dallas Cars & Coffee with 21 CTS-V's there. I don't think that we will have enough people to do it this time, we'll see, but there's always a next time.

New info: We are going to have our own designated parking, but only for about the first 20 or so cars. Cars coming later will have to park in whatever rows have any open spaces. I strongly suggest getting there early.

Rhett:
Cars & Coffee - Irvine is a weekly thing, closed about 2 or 3 weekends a year for maintenance & so forth. No, this is not a weekly thing for the Cads. This is the first time we ever had so many SoCal CTS-V's & STS-V's signed up. The lot holds about 350 cars, I believe. I can't tell you how many will show up. Yes, it's worth going to. I am sure there are pictures on the internet of previous shows. Get there as early as possible if you are going to park with the Cads please. HTH

We ended up with 22 Cads total. We had 1 2011 CTS-V coupe thanks Greg), 2 CTS-V wagons (thanks Dave, Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) & Bill, & 17 (thanks everybody) various CTS-V (V1's & V2's), & 2 STS-V’s (BobMcS & Kirk) A special thanks goes out to Dave of HPE & James (Dr Design - D3 Research & Design) and his crew for the support of not 1, but 6 CTS-V's I believe. Many thanks, Hector, Bill, Bob, & whomever else for taking the great pictures & posting them up on this and other forums. Thanks go out to all of the people, too numerous to mention, who attended with and without V's for our support. I think that we had a great turnout, and I am looking forward to doing this again. I really enjoyed seeing the different modifications and learning from everybody what the different mods do in the RWHP, RWTQ, & handling perspective. Hector, Scott, Bob (McS), Kirk, John, Jim, Dave, Greg, Kevin, Jarrod, Bill, James (Luna), James Gill (D3 & the D3 crew), Bob M., Andy, & OCG, many thanks again for the support.

Sounds like it was a real good time. I need to make one of the "local" Texas C&C's. I'm 100 miles each way from Dallas and Austin. But have friends with stangs and one with a Lotus; which sponsors the Austin C&C. Maybe one day.

I wanted to try and make this one, but had the worst headache and the car hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long (came back from road trip then started new job). One of these get togethers though. Sounds like a good showing [pics link not working for me] and hoping to make the next one. Really like to check out some others, meet some folks and especially see what the new ones really look like.

Sorry that you could not make it, John, it was a great showing of V's. We will have more of these for sure, at least that's the game plan. That link is a slide show of 41 pics and it takes a while to load and several "re-freshen the page". Great pictures thanks to Hector Lentin of the Cad forum.

Yeah, it's a shame, but I'm sure they'll just get bigger and better, so looking forward to it.

this cpu just doesn't like that link or something tried a few different ways, but no work for me...I'll try again later, as I'd like to check them out.
