So you gained 61rwhp and 48rwtq with a fairly mild cam and you're not impressed? It may be that the powerband has switched to a higher rpm level, but 48rwtq increase should certainly be felt by the seat of the pants. I'm very impressed with your gains, especially considering you swapped from a decent sized cam already. Not like you swapped from an LS1 cam or something.
I know the car gained power. That's obvious. Maybe I was expecting to feel it more? Maybe its how the powerband is shifted now. It doesnt have that hit like before. Call me crazy.... Lol

OP i didnt notcie much SOTP difference with the cam either really. I actually gained 4mph at the track on motor with the cam and long tubes though. I was consistent 106 stock and the first two times i ran it i went 110.

That's some pretty good mid-range power man. Do you think you might have over-excited yourself when you heard the cam lope and imagined yourself driving an 8 second car?
If i get on the throttle above 2K, there is no traction, if I roll in 2nd around 3.5K, no traction with Nitto NT05's @ 275 in the rear. The power is nice. 3rd and 4th pull hard. There were a few C6 Vette's out at TWS for HPDE day last sept that had a hard time passing me on the straight.
Attached is a graph of mine. Tune is literally CRAP. SAE smoothing of 5 shows that readings were irratic. He did 2 pulls and called it a day. This was off of a stock tune with the following mods:
Torquer V2 Cam, dbl springs, head resurface, valve job, de-screened MAF, x-pipe and gutted stock mufflers. Everything else was stock from air intake to cats.
I have the following ready for install and will have tuned by Chuck Anders around mid-April:
Ported Fast 90
Ported 90mm TB
1-7/8's Headers
Have already replaced stock cat-back with Corsa and OEM Crank pulley with 25% UD
EDIT: Thought you could see the whole graph in the pic. I was in a hurry. SAE correction was 0.97. Temp 59F Hum @ 63% and 29.88"Hg. on a DYNOJET.

He did the full exhaust at the same time>???
The reason I am bringing this up is because I have noticed(I have modified a LOT of vehicles) when you increase the sound considerably the vehicle just feels slower because of the increase in sound.
That could be the case here.

^ I spin my tires through first and second with very little effort. From 40 in 2nd, they just light up. I have 255 wide pilot sports on the back. I have down shifted to 3rd on the interstate (~60mph) to punch it and kicked the rear out...I honestly was not expecting that one.

From my very basic cam knowledge, I almost think I should have gone with a 234/238 113+3-4 if that makes sense lol anyways...
UPDATE!!!!
Ive had a chance to really feel the car out. No, the low end grunt isn't there anymore, but it has a noticeably more amour of mid range part throttle pull, passing traffic on the freeway ect. As far as top end goes I can't really 'feel' like it has more, o buoyant it does per my dyno sheet. I suppose I'm happy. My only regret I guess is this being my daily driver and having reservations about putting a bigger cam in it.
Wait a second. Did you say you wanted to buy a cam? I might have one. Super low miles. Lol.....

I previously had Goodyear Eagle F1 EMT's at 285/40/18 and couldn't hook for anything. The NT05's have helped out a lot

My car is pretty much stock only cai & muffler delete. I have Mich Pilots in 245.
With traction off I can get mine to crawl a little sideways when I hit third gear. Second gear you better be ready to steer into it. Much more fun than my 96 Ram Air.
