Excellent information. Thanks!

So I got my car back from the dealer this morning and...

the airbag light is still on. I didn't tell them immediately (because I really wanted to drive my whip), but I'll call them during lunch to see what's up.

I also had my motor mounts replaced and the car feels SOOOOooo much better. Makes me wonder if the tech forgot to do the recall...

And just as I suspected, the dealer had to order the airbag sensor & gave me my car back too soon. Going back in a few hours to let them do the work.

Got to love when you go to a dealer, they tell you the work got done, you leave and it turns up that they still need to order the part. What was the point of the appointment?!

We're already past the date when the dealers should have the part available for an active recall.

According to that toll free line, I don't have an outstanding recall, I guess I can stop looking for that letter now.

Thanks for that info, Cole!

Funny, but the part came in the next day. Someone just got ahead of themselves. All is well & no more annoying airbag warnings

My 05 doesn't seem to have been included in the recall, either. In fact I think mine is original to the car, at 103k. No airbag light. Lucky?
