Mine would do that when I had headers installed... thought maybe the steering position sensor... replaced it and still did it... come to find out it was the header tube vibrating on the steering shaft, made a tiny dent in headers, never came back.

I've had this happen. Scary as ****. I remember to take off the electronic nanny controls now. Haven't had it do it again. Of course, I rarely drive in a way that would activate them.

You could measure the circumference of the tires to rule them out. I just had my stabilitrac light come on for the last two days when I would accel hard. Turned out that the wiring to right hand rear speed sensor come loose from the bracket & was rubbing on my axle. Repaired the wires & have been fine.

That tire size being different is not causing the issue. What a clown.

If they were vastly different it could . . . but in this case I think they're close enough it shouldn't be an issue.
