Painting grill??

Wondering if anyone has any input on painting their grills. I am about to powdercoat my wheels black and was thinking about doing the grills at the same time if possible. So what do you guys think?

I have to carry a bottle of touch up with me for every time a rock hits the grille. I'm still trying to decide if I like the look, but I've got a spare original if I change my mind.
