The car sold before I could look at it. I did find out that it was a atomic blue metallic, which was used on Honda Civics... the paint job was done a few years ago, before the salavage... car was straight from what the sales guy said... oh well, I think it sold for around 16K

I can't imagine a sales guy lying about the state of the car either . . .

Wouldn't sweat the loss too much. There is a good possibility you saved yourself some headaches.

The color looks awesome, But it looks REALLY close to Stealth Gray, I know they said it had been painted, When uploading pics to my computer Sony software has a Color correction thing that changes and brightens colors a little bit when you click on it and Stealth Gray could easily look like that. Dont beat your self up to much, you actually ended up doing yourself a favor. $16k is TOO MUCH for an 05 with 68k Miles with a Rebuilt Title, If it were a Clean title than yeah it wouldve been a good deal, But with a Rebuilt you shouldve been buying that car for around $12k. Keep looking around, they can be found with those miles for around $17-$18k, a little bit more money but atleast you will get one that hasnt been clobbered and isnt a complete re-paint.
