Default Emissions legal cam numbers?

Hi guys. I've read a few of the cam threads and have a general idea of what the bigger cams put out for power with these engines. But I am wondering what the difference would be between stock and an emissions-friendly cam.

Does anyone have an example? And what is the cam brand/name or specs?

I come from a long history of fast F-bodies and C5s and am now looking for a more family-friendly ride with some fun.

Thanks!

It all boils down to valve overlap. I believe my cam has 2*, which I think will pass in California, with my stock manifolds and cats.

Interesting. 226/230 seems like it would otherwise be pretty close to the limit, if not slightly over. I had tons of fun getting my (LT1) 236/242 .568/.592 114 cam through a few years ago. More like finding the write emissions tech.

Did you ever have the cam in the car with the factory pipes and get a dyno run? Likely not. Worth asking though!
