No they won't. They are very pitted not hazy. I polished them all the way down to 3000 grit and then with plastic polish. I want them to look new (for cheap haha). I also really like the black backround that Persian V did.

Sounds like you need to buy some new ones.

Until they cloud up because you removed the UV coating.

I have a can of UV coating that I could use to recoat them. I guess I may try and get a aftermarket one and remove the lens from it to see how it goes. I dont want to buy $1000 worth of new headlights thats why I am here looking for a different solution.

I just did a quick, 10 minute search and couldn't find a set with both the D1S Xenon bulbs and the headlight washers. If you're potentially interested in buying mine, I'm planning on dumping my OEM set for an aftermarket set without the washers, but with CCFL halos. An upgrade in my book. Should be a fun mod...except for the wiring. If that's not your thing, try browsing through the hundreds of listings on eBay. You'll probably find something that you like, eventually.

I plan on swapping to a set of just CTS lights, then installing a 9006 HID kit since my stock ballast is already burnt out. You can get a set for $225 shipped, and I don't care for the headlight washers anyways. Seems like a winning situation for me.

Everytime I see this thread... It makes me want to attempt to do mine but then the fear of them not sealing again keeps from doing it. Lol

I have my squirters unhooked anyway. All they do it make a mess. I'd rather run stock CTS housings and that's what I'll do if these ever fail on me. But... I'd want the projector. It definitely improves light output as opposed to the standard housings.

Standard CTS lights do have projectors, don't they? I know my friend had a CTS with the projectors but no HIDs.

Also, guys don't be afraid of these re-sealing. I did this years ago on an SS I had and that car still runs around with the same lights. I used an automotive sealer from GOOP! that is available in about any auto parts store. I know we carry it at Auto Zone.

Yeah. Don't do it. Spend 300$ on the eagle eye halos and then Some DDM tuning HIDs. This is a pita to do and chances are you'll just ruin your stockers. Need to be slow, gradual, even heating. Something most ovens are not capable of.

i didn't personally do mine, but i'm glad i went this route instead of buying some inferior, ugly housings and plug and play HIDs.

if you're on facebook join this group. this is where the few people that are actually modifying V headlights reside.

Inferior and ugly? Haha have you seen the stock housings? And with aftermarket HID's you can make all bulb/ballast changes yourself. My HID's are 10x better than the stickers ever were.

LED strips and halos are not cool. and your H1 plug and play kit is, in fact, very inferior to a D1S HID.

your stuff may work for you and that's fine. it doesn't make it better than the OEM stuff in any way.

Haha I get more compliments on my halos than the faux chrome surround of the stockers.

And I can tell you what's not cool, your headlight washer units and that stupid little yellow bulb.

And you can retain a D1S bulb if your heart truly desires so....I guess I still don't see why the factory HID is any better than an aftermarket kit.
