Have you checked the battery's voltage when it dies?

Update: Car in on position is 12.4V. Running idle is 14.4V. It dies withing 4-7 minutes slowly back down to a 12.7V. I guess I will start taking the alternator out when it stops raining here.

1. Not VATS. Using key fob 1 now and it does the same thing.
2. Fuses check out fine.
3. Battery checked fine when I brought it there to check it again. It wasn't installed by walmart I did it myself. Everything is tight. Not battery.

Open to any other suggestions while I'm waiting.

If its a v1 I'm pretty sure you can have a million keys. Remotes I think you are limited

I have been searchin, and it seems i may have a faulty passlock sensor???

Could using a dummy key have fried the passlock key?

I will take my other set of keys and try them. If it all works then i have a faulty key and need to order a replacement...

Quick Reply: 05 V, car starts then dies immediately??? HELP!
