As I've stated previously, I love my M&P 45c. Fits my hand, aims better than shooter, reliable (0 issues in 1000 rounds thus far), plenty of accessories (night sites, laser, holsters, etc), on top of it all, American made. I can't recommend them enough.

Here it is with my S&W 4513TSW (highly sought after 1st Gen):

Springfield XD 45 compact is a very comparable counterpart to the S&W M&P 45 C. Similar price and features.

Yep, that is a REALLY nice weapon. It will be next in my collection.

Now, back on topic. I saw a chick at C&C once who had a custom pool ball made & then had it drilled out and used it as a ****. Looked awesome!

As a side note, in the heat down here I advise staying away from ANY & ALL metal shift *****. I had one in the Spec V & I had to keep a sock on it during the summer to drive without burning my hand.

I paid $560 out the door, but had I waited 10 days, I could've gotten it for $480 out the door. DAMN THE LUCK! Shop had a 10-15% off sale on EVERYTHING after I had bought it.

I plan on buying a full size M&P 40. You can do the exact same thing as Glock and put a 9mm barrel in it & fire away (with a 9mm mag).

I loved the all black too & one of the reasons I bought it. It definitely LOOKS better than the Glock too. Glocks are very blocky, utilitarian. M&Ps have some looks!

Except they're made in Croatia, have a grip safety!

The M&P can come with no safeties or a manual thumb safety, similar to 1911s. They also can have a mag safety.

I have no safeties on mine. My brain is my safety.

So to return this thread to unjackedom:

Do you think an M&P would make a good shift ****?

Yeah. I'm partial to the springfields because of a work related discount on them. An offer I can't refuse would be an understatement.. Never shot an M&P and wouldn't be opposed to trying one out. Just haven't had the chance yet.

Both guns look bad *** but I'm slightly partial to the styling of the M&P. I also like the no safety option. S&W should make a shift ****. I'd buy it. Lol

I was wondering how the metal **** would be with heat. U think my double limo windows and tinted windshield would help with that? Lol

it will help but the **** will still get hot.. now in the summer mine gets too hot to keep my hand on long enough to complete a shift. i had to have a little removable "boot" cover sewn up to put on it so that i could drive comfortably.

Well as nice as those ***** look, I can't justify spending $160 on something I'm going to be miserable using when the heat is scorching down here in Houston. Looks like I'm back to looking...
