I recently totaled my 98 Camaro. I have on it a Quick Time scatter shield with a Centerforce 12" DF Clutch along with a Camaro flywheel. These are such great parts (I hate to get rid of em) and I would like to install them on my next car, a CTS-V. I am pretyy sure that the flywheel and clutch can be used as long as I use the KATECH spacer but can I also use the Scatter Shield ?

The stock clutch uses a dual mass flywheel so the bellhousing is longer to acomodate this. As for the input shaft, the V's sits at the back of the crank in a sealed ball bearing. I bet if you go to an F-body pilot bearing they would bolt together. But then the next problem arises, you would be moving the entire trans mission toward almost an inch so the shifter, drive shaft, and trans mount would no longer fit.
