I'll probably take the V out before the season is over. I'm trying to justify buying some slicks, or just sticky street tires.
I will say one thing......I was driving to the exhaust place to get my B&B welded up, and it was raining outside. I got on it a little to pass someone and the tires broke loose. NO WHEELHOP!! Even in the rain! Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

I won't get them installed until after I burn up the old ones
I'll post 60' and 1/4 times after it goes to the track.
I did the cutting on the cradle and my buddy welded it. <- I suck at welding lol.

Mickeys 245/40/18 for $247/tire......dayum those are $$.....plus I want 275's if I do it.
Either those or Nitto NT-01's. But those are $300/ea for 275/40/18....although they do have 100AA wear on them, so they should be sticky as all get out

That's a nice kit; all their stuff is nice. I wish I could have gone with the 9" kit. I did spring for the gforce race axles. I'm crossing my fingers that race axles/4th gen diff/bushings will keep everything in one piece.
Now post some vids so I can daydream about your setup!

I'm waiting for my friend with a really nice camera so we can do some John Force style burnouts lolz. I will take it to the track as well. My buddy with a 69 Chevelle is fixing his torque converter, so when he does that, I'll take it to the track and gets vids of that too.
