When do you plan on taking her to the track? I can't wait to see the 1/8 and 1/4 times!

I'll probably take the V out before the season is over. I'm trying to justify buying some slicks, or just sticky street tires.

I will say one thing......I was driving to the exhaust place to get my B&B welded up, and it was raining outside. I got on it a little to pass someone and the tires broke loose. NO WHEELHOP!! Even in the rain! Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

I ended up getting some KDW's again since I got a hookup for 4 of them installed including road hazard/tax/old tire removal/out the door etc for $787!
I won't get them installed until after I burn up the old ones

I'll post 60' and 1/4 times after it goes to the track.

I did the cutting on the cradle and my buddy welded it. <- I suck at welding lol.

That's what I was going to get Bob.....

Mickeys 245/40/18 for $247/tire......dayum those are $$.....plus I want 275's if I do it.

Either those or Nitto NT-01's. But those are $300/ea for 275/40/18....although they do have 100AA wear on them, so they should be sticky as all get out

Hmm.. KDW's huh? I've had lots of guys complain that KDW's wheel hop even after using our anti wheel hop axle kit, glad to know that they dont wheel hop with our 9" kit.

Thanks
Chris

Haha, I saw it, just trying to make a funny.

That's a nice kit; all their stuff is nice. I wish I could have gone with the 9" kit. I did spring for the gforce race axles. I'm crossing my fingers that race axles/4th gen diff/bushings will keep everything in one piece.

Now post some vids so I can daydream about your setup!

I'm waiting for my friend with a really nice camera so we can do some John Force style burnouts lolz. I will take it to the track as well. My buddy with a 69 Chevelle is fixing his torque converter, so when he does that, I'll take it to the track and gets vids of that too.
