What do you slammed guys do with your front fender liners, if anything? I rub on mine a bit over big bumps or really hard turns, and it's starting to wear down a couple of the plastic push rivets. I just have nightmare-ish visions of the tire grabbing it, ripping it off, and thrashing it around my wheel well one of these days

I wonder how much of a disadvantage it is to take these things out. They've gotta serve a purpose beyond just deflecting water/debris from the engine bay. Speaking of which, do you guys notice your engine bay being a lot dirtier?

I'm lowered with H&R's, drive like an *******, and have never rubbed a tire. I am also in Oklahoma, where the heaves in the pavement are 1 foot high in places. He'll, I catch air on the way to the in-laws for Sunday dinner... I'm just posting because I'm confused why anybody else has issues. Is there a difference between the 04-05/06-07? The reason I ask is because I'm driving an 06 with no rub and it seems like most rub problems come from 04-05's.
Wes, you appear to also drive an 06, but are on non-stock wheel and tire size combo, so I kind of expect some issues.

I think it has a lot to do with whether or not people remove their bump stops and/or how much they trim them.. I've never had wheel to fender liner contact at all with my H&R setup so far. For reference, when I installed them, I trimmed about 1-1/4 inches off each of my front and rear bump stops.

Sounds like its yet another example of production variences with H&R. Spring rate differences would cause these varrying experiences. I took about 1/3 off my front bump stop, which was about an inch and a bit I guess.
Jenks - my wheel and tire combo is very close to OEM in terms of overall diameter. The fronts are OEM width too.
