Wings,

I guess I assumed u had the exhaust that came on our cars from the factory....my bad. U priced a stock part from the dealership and it came up out of this world expensive..SHOCKER!! I was being serious on my first post as the Corsa & Magnaflow are 2.5" diameter just as stock. They do have nice tips and nice sound but offer little to no difference in performance. The B & B is 3"
diameter and may offer a performance increase if your motor is modded elsewhere. This is all moot though, cuz IMO you had already made up your mind before u polled the forum for opinions.

im sure the exhaust companies took tubing size into consideration. Hell all my other cars are F Bodies and have single exhaust from the y pipe to the muffler, and its 3" and supports 370+ rwhp.

I'm sure dual 2.5" like on the cts-v is more than adequate. Its a damn good exhaust system!

Talked to the body shop today. The estimate is $7405. Ouch! In the interest of full disclosure, the Cadillac dealership told me the stock exhaust was $1800. This was a couple of years ago. The body shop today told me the stock exhaust was just under $1300. Either way, it's a lot of money. Thanks again for all the input everyone.

I have a magnaflow catback that I removed the standard mufflers from and replaced them with the small magnapacks. It's deep and throaty and pretty loud.

But I vote corsa!

I'm running the same setup and I know exactly what you mean. Had the car out last night for the first time since It came out of the garage and actually heard someone say "thats a cadillac?". And vs magnaflow/borla blah blah. They are crap inside the cabin. NOISY. It is shocking at how quiet the corsa actually is inside the cabin. I had my windows down yesterday to get a good idea of how it sounds cause honestly I couldnt tell just by sitting in the cabin. The only thing I have with the corsa is that at maybe like 2500 or 3000 rpm with grandpa slow shifting I may get a little minor pop...but it is nothing compared to ones ive heard before.

im running pacesetter LTs, catless connectors, and magnaflow. hated the magnaflow with the cats and manifolds- once i swaped to catless and LTs i fell in love with the sound. Its not obnoxious loud- just perfect- and suprisingly there is minimal drone....

Corsa and Kooks LTs sounds f'n incredible, and has absolutely no drone. I honestly count down the hours until I get to drive my car...that's how good it sounds!
