my car the only thing you see is the CAI and if you looks close, you might see the upper pulley, other than that it looks and sounds stock. if you go to the 10 sec section, you can see my youtube passes.

A buddy of mine has a friend who is a member on the 2009+ CTS-V forum and like some of us who wondered about the guy who ran 11.67 perhaps using something in addition to just a CAI he contacted a forum member who was actually present when this guy ran the 11.67.

It was confirmed that his 11.67 was completely legit.

There was only a CAI no pulley or handheld tune and he was definitely on stock size Potenza RE11s.

With this being the case I have to say I'm more impressed with what this guy's V has managed to do E.T. wise than some of the V's that have had several mods done are on drag radials and going 10's.

Did he make another run at similar ET to back it up? I have seen timing errors before. One friend swears he has an 11.7 car, because he got a timing slip with that time, but... EVERY other run he's made is a 12.2 or slower.

Good question.

I asked the same thing and was told the guy had a 11.73 and a 11.71 before his 11.67.

For what it's worth, I was recently informed another CTS-V on the 2009+ Cadillac CTS-V ( performance mods ) forum ran an 11.70 E.T. with the same set up ( CAI only & on street tires) as the guy who ran the 11.67 that was mentioned earlier on in this thread.
