Default 5 inch aluminum exhaust tips

Hey what you guys think of these 3" to 5" tubing transitions as exhaust tips. These are aluminum and I just hand polished um real quick. They also have um in stainless for same price. $20 each on ebay

5 seems a bit much for me. 3 to 4 is usually good, but anything beyond 4 to me personally, starts to look oversized.

The almost cone shape makes them look like crap, and "cheap" metal VERY ricer. If they were thicker metal and more cylindrical, the would look a lot better.

They look a bit oversized. And by ricer, he meant they look like they belong on the back of a Honda 4 banger with stickers as its primary horsepower mod.

5 inch bowl, cone shaped. I see where your inspiration came from

I agree about it being cone shaped. I would definitely be interested in checking it out if it looked more like a traditional exhaust tip.

Here's my general .02 on the exhaust tips. First of all, Way to big. I think I see your idea, which seems that you are looking to fill the exhaust cut in the bumper. My opinion, A little space isn't a bad thing. Next, The cone out looks cheap, to me. Which is certainly my opinion, but I don't think i'm alone. Coning out makes it look like you're trying to make the exhaust look bigger than it is. This is where ricer originally came from. Honda's and other import's appear like they had a massive turbo that required a 4in+ exhaust, when really they were virtually stock.

Maybe make a double wall tip? I'm a fan because it fills space well, but doesn't appear huge.
