Jesse,
There is no way possible that the shaft was not straight. The supplied belt is of a certain length and it the install was done to the letter. The belt tension was perfect. The jack shaft has bearings in it to allow for those tolerances anyway. I am not a person of low intelligence and find your statements insulting. Magnuson was sent the shaft for inspection. Magnusson sent me a formal opinion letter and it stated the boost caused the failure. What more can I say to prove my point? Bottom line, I refuse to use that supercharger on my professionally built motor cause I will not go through another SC jack shaft failure PERIOD. Especially when Magnuson will not step up again if it fails. They were very, very, clear. They were also very, very upset that you and lingenfelter are boosting the blower beyond what they consider safe and will warranty. You can attempt to create doubt on the cause of the the failure but the fact remains, it failed. I refuse to take the chance of this happening again. I have been through enough.

Serik,
I am merely, standing my ground on the matter by presenting proof of my claim. You are the one that needs to grow up and stay out of this thread. You have no "horse" in the race and are contributing nothing by insulting those close to the matter that have a financial interest.

Anytime a vendor/ engine builder like Jesse is shown to be lacking in so many areas it is to every potential consumers benefit.

In no way should it be viewed as " beating a dead horse".

I wasn't trying to insult you guys but you have two separate threads on this site alone about it, how's that not beating a dead horse? I won't even mention all the other forums. Yea it does suck you lost money. It's also nice that you let others know about the situation so they can avoided but bringing it up in every post that you can isn't going to get you your money back so time to let it go.

It's going to be a blast. Trash talk is for the internet. When everyone meets in person, it will be a great day of racing and a lot of fun. I look forward to meeting everyone.

Just to update, I've reserved the dyno for the event. If anyone who is "spectating" wants to put their car on a dyno, bring it. It won't cost much, I'm thinking somewhere in the range of $75 for a couple pulls, depending on how many people run.

I am working diligently to make this event.

I would like to reserve a spot to race with the understading that the only reason I do not make it is because the car is not ready.

I and KDI will do everything within our power to make the car ready.

Curtis, Keith told me that you want to make it. On Monday I'm going to call and see whether I can squeeze a couple more cars in.

Good news! I just got off the phone with the track, they don't have a problem with a few more cars, so I'm opening this up to 20 and that's it. So, as of right now, five additional spots are available. Also, I'm lowering the price --- if we get to 20 racers --- to $250, and that will include the dyno.

So, get on the list quick because I anticpate it will fill quick.

If Curtis can make it, how interesting and how much fun would it be to have Curtis matched against Jesse, as Jesse attempts to validate his prediction of a 9 sec. pass ?!

Might be best to pair them up starting with Jesse's first run, because Jesse has indicated that after he runs his 9 he will be parking the car ?!
