Default BMR Trailing Arms and Toe Rods

I bought the BMR TA and Toe Rods to install while doing the GForce 9. Should I shim the arms up or down to give more clearance to the rims (19x10)? The car is going to stay stock height.

I also have a question about the Toe Rods. I pulled the stockers out without paying attention to which side the "longer" side of the bushing pointed. Is it pointed to the front or rear? Any suggestions or help is appreciated.
