Pan and Covers
Im doing a stoked lq9 swap on my 04 V and was wondering if the stock oil pan has clearance for a 4" stroke crank and also the valve covers for 1.8 rockers? Thank You! Trying to make this as easy as pulling the engine out and putting another right back in!

The V oil pan will clear a 4" arm just fine, it's the windage tray that will be close. With the ARP studs, I had to space the tray down a bit to get a safe clearance.
Depends on whose rockers you're going to use. Some of the aftermarket 1.8 rockers are rather bulky and could possibly hit both the heads and the covers. I've seen a set of the SLP 1.85 rockers on a motor that was in the mock-up stage and they appeared to clear, but I don't know what the cam specs were.
I have Harlan Sharp 1.7 rockers on my truck (with a stock LS6 cam) and the heads had to be relieved at both ends to get adequate clearance. The rocker covers were o.k.
There are some rocker cover spacers that might help. I believe that they start at around $100 and go up.
