I'd like the colors to match a bit more personally, lovin' the look of LAYGO's HIDs.
From what I am gathering from this you just replace the low beam lamps & do an HID Fog light conversion to try to match the low beams, also find the right LED bulbs for the headlights. Doesn't seem to hard, there are SOO many choices & places to get these things. This would be my first "GO" at HIDS.
Hopefully LAYGO wouldn't mind hand holding us through this:
Low Beam bulbs to get?
LED bulbs to get?
Fog Light HID kit to get?
Links on your write up aren't working out, sites say out of stock etc.
**Guilty for being a noob**

Although, they were bright enough to drive thru a drive-in theater & able to see w/o blinding everyone.
The second you stick in any HID in your fogs w/o touching your headlights, you'll hate how yellow your low/running light is.

I do agree the light output in that pic looks nice. I'd like to see a light output pic with the same view running the homemade fogs. I know it wouldn't be as uniform as the ebay fogs but I'd like to see the difference first hand from pic to pic to compare the two only because I've had a couple people claim the light output on the homemade fogs isn't bad.

Out of curiosity since my ballast is currently toast... What would need to be done to make this 55w ballast and bulb kit work on our cars? I'm just thinking for $80, I'm better off going this route and getting the 55w ballast instead of paying that or even more for a used stock ballast. I know it's not plug and play but I assume it's just the power wire that needs to somehow be modified or changed to be able to plug onto that aftermarket ballast??

HID kits are almost entirely about the correct bulb. You can make a ballast connection fit to most standard harnesses simply by cutting off the plastic clip and just plugging in the spades. I've done this numerous times using the same ballasts I have had for years on multiple cars. I've had the same ballast currently on my V fog lights to power my G8 low beams, GTO fogs, and Nissan Armada low beams. Worked for all of them.
EDIT: just saw neversatisfieds burnt ballast. That's one weird looking sucker. I imagine the only way to bypass to a normal ballast would be to splice the wires.

So by splicing, I could just put my shitty ballast back in to plug the hole and actually use an aftermarket ballast to power the lights? Would the splicing be hard to do? Because I'm tempted (given the situation) to buy an aftermarket 55w kit for the lows and fogs and to make em work.
