What is the issue, specifically? For me, I do not use sport mode, traction control enabled, then simply load up trans with one foot on gas and one on brake, then walk it out. On the street, that translates to about a 1.8 60 foot. Do not slam gas, squeeze it to the floor.

Why do you avoid using sport mode ? Isn't sport mode suppose to give a faster, firmer and higher RPM shift than regular trans mode ?

When you say " load up the trans " what rpm are you suggesting ?

Doesn't traction control significantly reduce power ? Why not launch with traction control on and then take it off when tires hook up ?

I was talking about the suspension, not the shifting. Shifter in sport mode, suspension in touring mode.

Thanks for clarifying, however could you tells us what rpm you are suggesting when you refer to loading up the trans ?

With street tires, a lowly 1200 RPM. With drag radials about 2500.
