I love the ccw classics and got a set priced at around 3-3500, but if the concave is sexy enough, I wouldnt mind saving 1500 bucks

I also like the fact I wont see another V with my current wheels as I have the only set in this design currently made for this platform.

I just did a quick 20 minute "real-life Photoshop" shot with a half-can of plasti-dip and two of my wheels. My old camera's a piece of crap (my iPhone might actually be better).

I think it's fairly obvious from these pictures that you really need to black out the grille trim in order to make black wheels work. Unlike the other guy's infrared V, however, I'll be having it professionally powdercoated to ensure that it's glossy. Then re-evaluate. The fact that I bought an entire brand new spare grille (including the piece for the hood) in case I ever want to go back is very comforting right now.

I'm not sure how to handle the caliper issue. Black powdercoated calipers with the silver 8th Day Creations decals will definitely work and it might be the only color (other than silver) that works with this car. I think that red is out of the question, because the car is already red.

And here's me capturing the sound of the car before the cam goes on...

I actually disagree. I looked at the pictures without reading any text initially, and said "wow i really like the black wheels, the red, and the chrome grille trim" :x i think it looks really good.

I'll do some comparison pictures with my extra grille once I get the F14s on the car. Should be interesting.

Last I checked, we were at roughly 5-6 people that wanted Titanium.

I'm not affiliated with Forgestar, but it's possible that I could hook us up with a deal if we all wanted to buy a set of Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110s. I figure Tire Rack might enjoy selling 80-120 tires in one shot. That's 2x214 and 2x264 = $956 per person, minus whatever discount I can swing for the group.

Edit: I wrote to TireRack. We'll see what they say.

Sorry, but nobody else is going to want an unproven W-rated tire from BFG when the proven, Y-rated Ventus V12 is only $10 more.

We need to purchase in quantity to get a discount, so I have to go with a recognized standard. Tire Rack is interested in my proposal, and they're going to get back to me on the details soon.

This looks like the accessory wheels in 19" with varying finishes, right?

The one 'shop of the Plat w/flat black looked sweet too! GAH!

I'm REALLY torn between the Venetos & these. I like that I could put some down here too. GAH!

(I feel like I'm doing my best impression of NeverSatisfied.)

yea pretty much.. hahah but you get to properly put a 275+ in the rear + a concave face -- and run stock trailing arms[275-285 will prob fit] becuase they will apparently be 5mm of clearance then the LC wheels

Haha! Finally I'm making a name for myself! Lol

So the wheels are going to be concave in the rear and semi-concave up front? What's the widest wheel/tire combo you can fit with stock trailing arms? And if we plan to upgrade trailing arms, can we order them a little wider?

Might have been questions already answered but I'm having a hard time going page to page with shitty service so I'm posting my questions.

I still think I'm going to make a move on these. Undecided on finish though.

Semi concave up front, deep concave in the back. You don't have an option with respect to size and offset--I already asked. Both your front and rear clearances are going to be extremely tight with these wheels, but shouldn't rub unless you try to exceed the recommended 275 rear tires. I'm not sure why they recommended 245 front, given that we have 245 front already on 8.5" wheels.
