Forgestar F14 Wheels Entering Production (6x115 - FINALLY!)
#661
I've been down that route too. It won't work--you won't even be able to get them on the hub because they'll impact the suspension linkage. You need an additional 12mm of clearance on the outside and 16mm of clearance on the inside. With the 19x9" wheels, you have less than 5mm of clearance on the inside, meaning that you'd have to put a 10mm spacer on the wheels to get the 19x10" F14s to fit. And with the front tires sticking out a full inch further than the back tires, your CTS-V would look really bad. Plus you'd be in imminent danger of wrecking your front fenders over every bump.

Here's everything I have, you want to email Peter at-
peter@forgestar.com, just let him know you're interested
Hello,
Yes the next batch of 1st Gen CTS V parts will be here sometime next month and the price is $1560 in standard finishes + shipping for the set. Attached is the order form you would need to fill out and email or fax back to me and we will charge a 50% deposit when the parts get here and the remaining balance once the wheels are ready to ship.
Yes the caps are included. We have 2 caps for the CTS-V 6 lug because on the rear dust cap you need to shave it down in order to fit the flush cap if not you would have to use the raised cap as shown in the photos here http://www.forgestar.com/blog/pics/blackcts3.jpg
19x9 19x10 Wheel size
Tire sizes 245/40/19 and 275/35/19

Yep, it's the only reason why I'm not having them installed and waiting for me by the time I get home...I'm going to have to chop it down a little because I know Discount will not want anything to do with trimming down the axles.

It's easy...if you want help cutting them down throw the wheels on without the rear caps and take a drive up north!

I'm strongly leaning towards pulling the trigger and getting a set of these wheels and I'd like to hear feedback with regards to tire choices people have run with these sizes. I see some have gone for Hankooks and Kumhos, which seem like the value choice but might be a compromise with regards to wet traction, ride, quietness, and longevity. I plan on running the 245/275 set-up and after perusing TireRack I do have quite a bit to choose from besides those like Goodyears, Yoks, Bridgestones, Michelins, etc. I'm mainly looking at Grand Touring/All Seasons because I use my car for long business trips and hit a lot of rain plus would like them to ride well and last 20-30k miles.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Well, I've had no problems driving ridiculously fast in a downpour with the Hankook Ventus V12. Of course, they have no cold weather traction to speak of. They're also the quietest tire I've ever driven.

Thanks for the feedback. How many miles do you have on them and how are they holding up?
