I'm not really sure why everybody keeps calling the UMI's a solid mount? They are the closest thing to a solid mount but they have urethane bushings in them as well. They are not like the solid steel welded mounts that D3 was selling.

Anyone install the revshifts yet? I'm leaning toward these, but I'm still on the fence between these and the UMI. And while I'm installing headers next weekend, I might as well change my mounts.

Sounds like most people prefer UMI. I don't imagine you'll avoid added vibration with any aftermarket mounts.
I purchased the UMI mounts after I posted this thread. But I have yet to install them, so I have no meaningful feedback for you.

Yes, for the ride with the least amount of Vibration, CS or Revshift will be the best option. For something that will last longer and not be as prone to failuer, UMI is the route to go. And from what I have read about the UMI mounts, the are not all that bad as far as vibration goes.

There's a used set of UMI mounts on eBay right now...

How are the vibes? Mine are stock and leaking, so I fee a bit of vibe at idle and shutdown. Also have that weird 2200rpm vibration, but I'm not sure if that's flywheel related.

Now I have to find a happy medium for the shifter. I shortened the top, extended the bottom, and eliminated the lower bushing. Wife says it hurts her arm.

Vibes are a tad more than stock, but nothing unbearable by any means. I still love the mounts after beating the **** out of them!

Haha, you're not going to believe me when I tell you.
I used an engine crane! I took the cross section of the mount off the car, put it under the legs of the crane then hooked the crane up to the top of the motor mount and used the crane to pull the motor mount apart far enough to slide the new mount in.
Even with the crane pulling, I still had to use a long screw driver along with a lot of grunting, pushing and swearing to get it in. Once I got it in it's solid and made a HUGE difference with my shifting.
