at least they painted the door jams and shock towers.. haha but really there is no reason to just hate on it. it wasnt your money he spent.. IMO i'm glad he blew the money on it, it gets the V1 bodystyle attention and keeps us relevant. bottom line is these cars are now cheap enuff to belong to 16yr olds as their first car. we will def be seeing more Vs done up like this

I have the same mats, they're awesome. Funny thing, when I started at Carmax back in '97, they had a Ford Probe this color. After a year and a half, it got transferred without being sold, as of 2001 when I stopped working for them, it was still sitting in Texas. They say there is an *** for every seat...I beg to differ.

damn, never thought I would see a V be hated on by so many V owners. To each his own really, it was built as a show car. So all of those mods are relevant for todays younger type car shows. I think it is awesome someone did it to a push rod v8 and not a honda. I mean I would not have done it that way, but again to each his own. As far as the 100k in mods, I can see. That paint job cost 10-20k range alone. Rims, lights, system, tvs it all adds up quick. At any rate, I think the car is well built, they did a good job covering the details. I think its a nice car. And it is still a V!

to each their own. Car looks like its straight out of the dirty south. Im surprised its not on hydraulics with 30" wheels.
I think the lines of the V1 help this color work. Lowered with much better wheels, this car could look sweet.

I think it looks fine other than the color matched wheels. I've never been a fan of that styling touch. I think the color actually looks pretty cool - not something I would want to do to my own car, but the angular style of the V1 (much like the angular style of the Lamborghini that paint came from) works well with the bright color.
Oh, anyone know where to buy one of those 60hp K&N filters?
