A lot of changes on my car recently:
- Creative Steel Motor Mounts, Diff bushing & Diff Block
- LS7 Clutch & Flywheel
- Shifter linkage tightened with new bushings
- New FG2 shocks
- Ground Control with 600f/650r springs
- New boost a pump from Magnuson to replace the fried Magnavolt
- Plasti dip on front grill and wheels
Boy does it feel like a whole different car. Since the maganvolt died and I installed the new style boost a pump, I wanted to make it was working properly and the fuel pressure and A/F was right on. I took it to the shop one of my good friends works at, County Corvette in West Chester, PA, and had their tuner (Mikey from Rapid Motorsports) look everything over for me. The boost a pump is working, and he tweaked the tune a bit because it was a bit rich. Previously I was at about 436/412. The first pull today was at 439/424 as you can see, and we got a little but further. The IATs were terrible after two pulls...140+

The car shut off. It is installed inline for the power to the fuel pump, so when it fries, the fuel pump loses power. Fortunately I installed the s/c myself, so I knew what wires to re-connect to cut out the magnavolt system on the side of the road to get the car running again.
I wouldn't really consider the boost a pump a change, the new one does the same thing as the magnavolt. The clutch/flywheel probably have little effect on a 4th gear dyno pull, but removing the slop from the drivetrain with the flywheel, motor mounts and bushings may have slightly reduced the drivetrain losses. Also, the tune before was rich...about 10.8:1 and we took it to about 11.1:1 today if I remember correctly. He also backed the timing off because he thought it was a little aggressive.
Nah, I didn't take any videos, but it was really loud

I don't know where the timing was but he backed it off from where it was because he felt it was aggressive and didn't seem to be creating any more power. I'm ok with it right now, I like to stay on the safe side.

Thanks! The plasti dip is holding up great on the wheels and the grill, no chips or anything. It cleans up pretty easily with just soap and water while I'm washing the car. So far so good! I think I'm going to take the plasti dip to my (black) truck next to make it match the V. The stuff is so easy to work with, you can black out anything you want, and if you don't like it just peel it off. I am so glad I found and tried this stuff.
