Default loading nav/dvd discs

so i recently picked up an 04 v....today i went to try out the navi and upon putting the disc in I can hear the motor turning to pull it in but i guess can't grab it?
I tried with a dvd as well and no luck.

Also tried "chasing" it in so it would insert completely but it is still not going all the way in..it will eject the disc perfectly fine but I guess doesn't take it into the reader?

anyone have any ideas or cures to this?

thanks

Pull it out and take a look. It is 4 bolts holding the whole assembly in and then you are on your bench.

ahh make sense something is jammed in there.....once i take the unit out is that part easily accessible? or do i need to completely tear the unit apart?

what could be in there that would cause it to jam up?

thanks a ton for your help
