"Service Theft System" light keeps coming on?

"Service Theft System" light keeps coming on? About once a day or roughly every 4-5 times I start my 05 V, the "Service Theft System" notification keeps popping up on the head unit, & the light also pops up on the cluster. The car drives fine with it on, but usually when it pops up, I shut the car off, restart it, & it goes away, but it is pretty annoying. Anybody know what would cause this & how do I fix it?

It's probably a bad electrical connection (cue ominous chime). I got the same message when I took the interior panels off my front doors. It went away when I reinstalled them.
