There is a replaceable filter underneath on the passenger side in front of the rear wheel... You can verify fuel up to that point it's possible it's clogged

Replacing the fuel pump requires dropping the exhaust and rear end.
Some guys have cut an access hole through the sheet metal under the rear seat.
Either way it really sucks. Good luck.

You also need a special tool to remove the locking ring that holds the fuel pump assembly.

really not that big a deal to drop the rear and tank. you can do it in a weekend.

You need to check your fuel bucket at the electrical connection at the top. the older V's are starting to have this problem.

you can do it without the tool. BFH and screwdriver. Even the dealer told me to do this when I asked about the tool. he laughed.

with the tank down you can do this.

I cut my own service hole when I installed the Racetronix kit (includes Walbro 255LPH fuel pump). You don't need a special tool to remove the ring (just hammer it around with a pipe and big freaking hammer), but you'll pay the price in terms of the installation being a ROYAL PITA.

Recommend checking your fuel filter first. If you unscrew the outlet fitting and fuel doesn't come out, that means that you've got a dead pump.
