If I was on my computer, I'd post pics of Tommycomptons car but I'm on my iPhone. He's doing it and it's working for him. He said a 305 though... Forget it. 295 is the max. I'd fully roll my fenders for sure though regardless.

camber might become your friend. I could find his car but dont care. Its gonna be TIGHT as hell witha 295. Probably need camber.. and maybe a slight pull. I plan on this soon to get my 285s on.

I'm curious. If you think H&R vs stock on the track.

If your talking a track only set then I recommend 275/35/18s square set up using Conti GAC scrubs ($100 ea on the used market) with Team Dynamics. It's a solid inexpensive set up. A set of TDs are about $1150 and the GACs are $400. So for about $1650 your set. To operate the traction control switch without a tire pressure monitor system click here. They fit with the KWV3 kit (lowered to the max) and rolling the fender lips. Roll in as much camber as you can front and rear.

I'm running the TDs as well, also with KW V3 coil-overs. I've got 275/35-18 Hankook Z214s on mine, rather than the used Grand Am tires. I rolled the front fender lips, haven't touched the rears. No issues on track.

Not to get off topic but if I have those 3 dashes on my display for all 4 corners on my tire pressure display but my key fob works, what is likely the problem?

Can you turn off traction control or go into comp mode? Perhaps you need to reprogram the monitors in each wheel.

For some reason the left rear showed some faint scoring on the GAC tire at Road America. The right rear was OK. I rolled the backs just to be safe.

I can fully disable traction control. I took the car to discount and the little sensor tool reads the sensors in the tire so I know they are good but for some reason they aren't registering on the dash. Just the --- on all 4 corners. My key fob works though which is weird.

Man that is strange. After about 50 miles of driving without a TPM value the system deletes the constraint of denying comp mode. Maybe that's what's going on.

It was like this when I bought the car. Assumed they just needed to be reset and since I could still disable traction control, wasn't really a big deal. My buddy is the pervious owner though and he said ever since he had a shop install the headers, the TPMS system went to
--- on all 4 corners. He just figured it was a coincidence and they needed to be reset.

In my car, I also have the --- on all four corners, yet my FOB works and I can go through all modes of traction and stability control. I never messed with trying to reprogram them because my FOB sucks half the time.

Exactly how my car is. I almost prefer it this way because I don't have to deal with TPMS sensors going bad and stuff but at the same time, it would be nice to know the tire pressures without having to check them manually.
